Contact: Phil Kenny, Counselling Manager

Counselling offers you an opportunity to talk about particular areas in your life that are causing you distress with someone who is trained to listen. It can help you to make better sense of the feelings you are experiencing and enable you to see difficulties in a more manageable way.

Counsellors are trained to listen without giving advice or being judgmental, someone who will help you find your own answers

Counselling at MIND

Hillingdon MIND offers a free counselling service to residents of the London Borough of Hillingdon who are on low income and are experiencing mental or emotional difficulties. This service is confidential and all counselling is undertaken by carefully selected counsellors who are qualified or in their final year of a recognised counselling course.

Many counsellors have specialist skills in areas such as:

  • Bereavement and loss
  • Relationship
  • Couple counselling
  • Sexual abuse
  • Anxiety
  • Stress Management

Hillingdon Mind will make every effort to place you with the counsellor best equipped to deal with your particular difficulties.

Counselling is available Monday to Saturday at times that are suitable for you and your counsellor.
